Unfitted furniture kits
This island unit kit enables wall and base units to be placed back to back creating an island unit which is accessible from both sides. Island units are very popular in modern kitchen settings and create the ideal focal point in any kitchen environment.
The kit is designed to accommodate 300mm and 560mm deep units back to back. Based on the same principles as the standard cargo system with end frames 920mm deep and cross rails in lengths up to 1.5m. The end frames are available in timber and stainless steel for use with co-ordinating MFC or veneered panels.
Like the standard Cargo system all end panels are matched to Second Nature doors. The steel kit is supplied as an end frame without the decor panel, so that you can use timber panels or co-ordinating mfc. Steel decor panels can be ordered separately (sold in singles). The island unit kit compromises of three tubular support rails, no back rail is required. The rails are available in 1.5m lengths. Each end panel is supplied with 4 holes pre-drilled which allows left or right hand application of the base/720mm wall units. L-shaped brackets are supplied to support the worksurface.

6x fitting plates 5mm thick
12x A150 L-shaped brackets
All the necessary component fittings
Unit Configuration The deep end frames are designed to fit a 300mm deep wall unit and a 560mm deep base unit set back to back. Each frame has 4 cross rail fixing positions. The kits are to be used in conjunction with the CEF920 end frames listed below.
