Many thanks to Leigh and Joanne for allowing us to design and supply this fantastic painted shaker oak kitchen. Leigh found WKO after searching on-line for local kitchen design studios in the Newcastle upon Tyne area. Feeling disappointed with the level of design input received from the high street we were commissioned to provide alternative concepts for the space.

Listening to their requirements we devised a scheme choosing a combination of classic painted and natural oak shaker doors. Their new kitchen extension allowed us to produce a compact and ergonomic design which connected their kitchen and open living areas.

Using design features which among others included radius end panels we were able to create an interesting and luxurious high end fitted kitchen. We have a fabulous new addition to the Linear range of modern kitchens available to order from January 2012. Linear Bardolino Oak is a stunning grey oak slab frontal featuring a deep wood grain effect. This convincing wood grain door is a hard wearing, practical and affordable alternative to real wood veneers costing many times the price.

The grey oak finish compliments a number of our door styles and can be combined with a contrast door colour such as our Glas-Look frontal in blue to add a splash of contemporary colour. The Linear frontal style is very similar to modern kitchen designs manufactured by high-end European manufacturers but is available on a much shorter lead time and at a fraction of the price.

All cabinets are made in the same wood grain texture and are fully colour co-ordinated inside and out. Our cabinets are ready assembled and constructed from quality EGGER 18mm carcass material rather than16mm material favoured by many German kitchen manufactures.
